Job Description

We’re looking for a passionate and self-motivated Creative Designer to join our team, helping to bring new customer concepts to life through innovative packaging design. This exciting role blends structural and graphic design — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to see their ideas move from sketch to finished product.

In this position, you’ll take a key role in developing, designing, and presenting solutions for new client briefs, while also supporting production with CAD samples and detailed drawings.

We’re seeking someone with experience in Microsoft Office, Artios / Impact, and Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, who can combine creativity with strong problem-solving skills and a professional, client-facing approach.

Candidates with previous experience in packaging design and manufacturing—particularly within the folding corrugated and carton industry—will be highly regarded. However, if you have strong design ability and a keen interest in carton design, full training will be provided.

This is a dual-role opportunity, so if you’re experienced in either structural or graphic design, our client is happy to offer training in the other discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as part of a 3-person design team

• Create innovative and practical design solutions tailored to customer needs

• Produce high-quality printed prototypes, CAD samples, and 3D visualisations

• Collaborate closely with the Design Manager on ongoing projects

• Support Account Managers during client presentations and design pitches

• Attend customer briefings and internal feasibility meetings

• Maintain and update the R&D database and other internal systems

• Build effective relationships across teams to support the company’s innovation strategy

• Develop and visualise ideas through 2D and 3D design, including sketching and rendering
